Whisky Tasting Event
On the 26th of June we will be holding a Distiller's Edition whisky tasting of 4 different Distiller Editions
Distiller Editions are premium versions of each distilleries most famous expression. In this case, the Clynelish 14, Royal Lochnagar 12, Talisker 10, and the Lagavulin 16
Each original whisky has been placed into an extra fortified wine barrel to add an extra characteristic to the character of each whisky
This tasting session is a must for those who like strong and rich style whiskies

As a special offer, we have put together a collector's edition of the entire 2012 Distiller Edition Range.
Event Report
This was one of our most successful events yet with 11 people attending our second Distiller's Edition whisky tasting.
The highlight of the evening was a very improptu performance by Femi Lawal, a video clip star from the youku video website. He played 4 songs alternating between English and Mandarin.
On top of the Distiller Edition Whiskies which are always very well received, the Single Malt Club also added a final secret whisky to the tasting... a 15 year Glenfarclas matured completely in sherry casks in order to compare to the Distiller Edition whiskies which only recieve up to a year in sherry/port casks.
Finally as a complete surprise to even us, Gu Chuan produced one of his own whiskies, a Glendronach Revival 15 Year, for everybody present to taste. The Glendronach is a powerfully sherried whisky and a great example of the style. Many thanks to Gu Chuan, who is an avid whisky collector and enthusiast. It was a great way to finish the evening.
